Covert investigations
What are Covert Investigations?
Covert investigations are fact finding missions much like conventional investigations. However, they have some key differences. First, a key element is the investigation is not known. Special officers assume an identity to deceive others. They collect intelligence to uncover illicit activity.
When security incidents occur and often times organizations do not have the necessary experience to manage it. Insider threats make it even more difficult to detect activity. We can insert covert officers into an organization to collect intelligence for evaluation.
How does it work?
Our consultants will assess your situation
Our consultants will assess your situation to determine the viability of executing a covert investigation and assess the likely possible outcomes. We conduct risk assessments to determine a level of risk to clients. After that, we work with you to develop an investigative plan for a successful resolution. Once we set the plan, we will set a timeline to insert covert officers for the investigation. From there our case handler will routinely setup evaluation meetings on the progress. If the case requires legal action we will make the proper coordination until its conclusion.
Our Agents
The experience our operators bring to the table is what sets us apart from other security companies. We have a wealth of experience amongst our operators performing investigations such as former special agents, criminal detectives, police officers and paramilitary contractors. We’ve developed a covert investigation program with the emphasis on results. All of our operators follow standardized PMV protocols to yield consistent, safe and effective results when conducting investigations.
Equipment
You may notice in our other services we rely on state of the art equipment to perform some of our services. We rely heavily on equipment to enhance our agent’s effectiveness in the field whether it’s hidden cameras, long range cameras, drones, audio bugs, communications equipment, radio signals interception & jamming and disguises etc.
Do I need a Covert Investigation?
That can be a difficult question to answer as there are several factors that would affect the decision. The answer may not always be black and white. Ultimately you are the deciding authority however if we recommend you not to initiate a covert investigation it is based off our knowledge & experience and we do not want to see clients use hard earned budgets on a wasted operation. We also reserve the right the right to refuse any requests with a risk matrix that exceeds tolerable thresholds either for the client or PMV. Contact us to speak with one of our consultants who can provide you with an effective solution based on your circumstances.
In conclusion, PMV Security Group can provide comprehensive support for all types of security services. Above all, we make every attempt to provide the best quality service possible.
