CTPAT Training
As an organization expands in size becoming more complex it must have an established CTPAT training security program. The more complex positions become over time the higher the need for specialized training. Effective training is critical to the successful implementation of security standards including CTPAT.
Executive Support
Security must be addressed from the “top down” yielding support from executive management. Without executive leadership to support policy changes it will be difficult for larger organizations to implement changes. in conclusion

Basic Training Categories
Business Partner/Vendors
This should include a screening process for partners when conducting business transactions, site surveys, and risk assessments. This identifies any risks with third party interactions. For instance, vendors may conduct illicit activity which could bring risky staff onto the facility. after that
Conveyance
Conveyance, container areas etc. should have standardized inspections and documented seal procedures. Training should cover shipping/receiving personnel within security guards and access control to container areas. Above all, containers are a significant risk. likewise
Information Technology
An overview of information technology policies and procedures. As technology becomes more integrated into operations policies must be flexible to accommodate. This would cover all types of computer and technology users.
Physical Security
Covering parking restrictions, site property, fencing inspections, alarm systems, and CCTV surveillance systems etc. This covers a significant portion of security and vendor management personnel. Above all, it is critical personnel adhere to all physical security requirements.
Access Control
The selective restriction to a place or other resource meanwhile access management describes the process of access control. This covers types of access, to sites, and different layers of access on those sites. However, there are several types of access control. So this can vary from site to site.
