Factory Security
Factory security covers a wide range of environments including manufacturing plants, facilities, warehouses, and distribution centers.
Industrial & manufacturing sites can pose unique challenges for security. Because of significant geographical space, high value goods & equipment. The location of the site will affect who can access the site and how they access it. For example, if a facility is operating in an industrial park. Likewise, they may share walls with other facilities. It will be easier for individuals in neighboring companies to access the site from the joint walls.
Older facilities that did not have security as a component in construction in mind may need additional security enhancements.
The PMV Approach
For these very reasons PMV Security always strives to ensure a highly visible and multi-layered presence at each location we serve clients.
The first factor we look at is the candidates we select when hiring. If they don’t match our standards we move on as from our experience no matter the quality of training or managers, if they don’t fit the job the problems will show up in the future.
The next factor is our training standards. We implement a strict basic training for all the guards and from there their advanced specialized training. This is where our security personnel work on industry standard requirements. They will be trained in all aspects of that industry from security protocols, procedures, equipment operations and safety operations. The last portion covers site specific training which provides the most up to date protocols and requirements by the client.
We ensure our security team can meet all international standards as we know many industries have business partnerships and often times international clients. We push the have all security guards meet those standards when operating at a site that requires some type of industry standards.
